The bargain price I was also enticed to buy this knife set. The large chef's knife and a small kitchen knives are regularly in use and have earned 5 stars, but the paring knife is lack of sharpness disappeared in the drawer. Therefore, in the overall standings only 4 stars.
My recommendation is, therefore, prefer the chef's knife and paring knife to buy separately. Especially since the paring of the blade size is very close to the chef's knife and can easily be replaced by this.
