The Village (Audio CD)

Customer Review

For me, this CD is a gem in any soundtrack collection.
Blame the seemingly weightless violin pieces by Hilary Hahn, beautifully by the piano (? Scan Tip: What Are You Asking Me ') and / or orchestra accompanies. With few exceptions, outweighs a very melodic, solemn tone, which always sparkling, lively passages are interspersed. Equal the basic theme and the first track, Noah Visits', are for a wonderful example.
Although the orchestration is quite lush (Symphony), at the same time it considers, however, as pure accompaniment so subtly and skillfully in the background, that the attention ... Excuse me ... can ear concentrate on Hillary Hahn's violin.
Although the soundtrack also includes occasional threatening sounds and effects, sometimes flashy, fast-paced and quite discordant (, Those We Do not Speak Off ',' It is not real '), sometimes enigmatic (, The Forbidden Line'). But such scenes there was in the movie - the fear of the village of the unknown, the prosecution in the forest - and therefore are suitable for the soundtrack, although they interrupt the quiet overall tone.
The dreamy music is - with or without knowledge of the film - to a complete detachment, self-dealing Into Hark, Airborne. , What Are You Asking Me 'and' The Vote 'I will ever again hear ...
