1. grinder
In the pantry fit approx 125g beans, which is about 1/4 coffee package 500g.
The grinder is adjustable in 5 steps. I was right for the finest level (leftmost) decided. The result is quite coarse ground coffee, which is not to be compared with already ground coffee out of business. This has the consequence that the consumption of the beans is significantly higher. It looks very nice, how fast the larder is empty. 2 cans of coffee are having a filling (125g) already scarce. Zack and empty. So much coffee I do not need otherwise.
2. Result of coffee
There are 3 ways to influence the coffee strength
- Freeness
- Default number of cups (is only relevant for the strength, or used beans amount It always runs the entire water tank through.)
- Selection of coffee strength (mild, moderate, severe)
When set to 4 cups, easily, fine grinding degree I really get a great coffee at a reasonable consumption of coffee beans. All other tests were simply unacceptable. The consumption of coffee beans is emens high and the coffee is very weak due to the grind, or consume so much coffee beans that the entire filter (1/4) is filled with ground coffee. This is madness.
3. Temperature
The coffee is insanely hot. I've never experienced. Here is a big plus!
However, a lot of water evaporates during brewing. Here always a cup more water into the tank must be at least. Be given when the back comes back to coffee out.
4. coffeepot
The pot fits well and is easy to handle. The coffee can pour yourself super. However, there is a big minus for the lid. This can in fact very difficult to break away from the pot. The instructions say to the fact that this needs to be turned counterclockwise from the holder. My cover is the third time out broken => broken.
5. Resumee
The machine makes a good first impression, but I will return my back for the following reasons.
- Finest grinding is still very rough (as fine gravel)
- Cover is broken, because it can only be solved very cumbersome
- Everything about 4 cups of coffee goes has an unacceptably high consumption of coffee beans
When cleaning the machine, I found that even hung an awful lot of ground coffee in the chute.
