Recording during Timeshift disaster

Who calls an older Topfield receiver his own, which is certainly of the time shift functionality over excited.
Unfortunately Topfield has implemented this functionality at the SRP-2401 only deficient.
Scheduled recording and live recordings are still possible without restrictions.
Also, the shift operation as such work as you are used to it.
However one decides to take something that has been running for a while, so this works only with extreme limitations. While you can take and coil back in time shift buffer, but from the start of recording the box for any other functionality is locked.
One can then neither advantage nor rewind, you can not switch to another program, you can watch any recorded program from the hard drive more. Nothing works anymore.
No matter which button you then press on the remote control, it always seems the dialogue that first recording in progress must be stopped.
And the way still can play back a recording at a receiver capable of receiving up to 4 HD channels simultaneously.
At my request at Topfield me was unfortunately confirmed. Why the new generations of Topfield receivers have these basic limitations, was founded in the new file system used the box.
