Incubus succeed with "Morning View" a successful development of their distinctive style of incredibly catchy chord melodies combined with fat-sounding riffs. Unlike the previous album "Make Yourself" the Guitarrensound is determined in "Morning View" much less of digital effects, and DJ Kilmore adheres to this plate with scratching and effects very in the background, which is not to be regarded as a disadvantage. "Less is more", and so stands in songs like "Nice to know you", "Circles", "Blood on the ground" or "Under My Umbrella" produced a "Mike Sole vintage sound" at its finest. The sound from all of multifaceted Bass Lines Dirk Lance's and the unmistakable voice Brendon Boyd's, is supported above all in more melodic, usually "clean" - played songs like "are you in", "Echo" or " Mexico "its full effect. Is rhythmically ingenious set in Scene the whole of Jose Pasillas II, which seems to blend virtuoso rhythms together with its many Tombs and pelvis. The business card of this plate is, of course, "I wish you were here", a song to sing along and be happy, one of those songs whose melody everyone believes to know, even if you have never heard it ...
