The CD is for me a clear step forward, the songs seem rocky and yet pleasantly quiet. Unlike "Do or Die" album has become quieter, but do not confuse with Lahm. The "Metal bonds" are after my Empfingen as good as out. But this one has strong feeling that more Rock n Roll / Rockabilly Parts fill the songs. Especially funny in song no. 7, even a little Elvis Feeling came from "Hear Break Hotel" where some passages underline the song.
Furthermore, I really like that the band has evolved rapidly and thus "without cover" songs manages to on the song: "My Country", where the Rammstein version was covered by "My country" and the BossHoss Cover "to my taste" even better than the original. The song acts as a pure Country Performance and really fun!
The album know on 18 titles, all of which are very varied. Although we know the band well now, they have very blossomed. They can be recognized again, but a small melodic evolution has taken place, where indeed Country is represented as a basic framework, but is sometimes more, sometimes less strongly underpinned by rockabilly, pop, blues elements. So a pure album a certain style direction should not be expected.
Conclusion: taste is subjective! I liked the music very much, it has just evolved as I had hoped. Or. I am glad that it has not become even harder as Do or Die. Rocking, but not too hard, the golden mean. A more than worthy successor who keeps the appetite for the next album really busy.
Best regards
