Flash Gordon (2011 Remastered) Deluxe Edition (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Every year there is a new edition of the soundtrack to the cult movie FLASH GORDON. This time there is a bonus CD with 6 alternative versions:
1. Flash (Single Version)
2. The Hero (October 1980 ... Revisited)
3. The Kiss
4. Football Fight (Early Version, No Synths - February 1980)
5. Flash (Live In Montreal, November 1981)
6. The Hero (Live In Montreal, November 1981)

The original soundtrack album is just 35 minutes short, and the bonus CD also has a length of only 15 minutes. On a CD but space for 80 minutes is available. It would have been better if we had packed all the songs on a single CD.
For film music: It's not a song-album, but again only the short version of the soundtrack of the sci-fi film Flash Gordon (ie with dialogue and noises), that is really a radio play.
A real soundtrack album would only be the film music, that is, without dialogues and sounds.
Negative striking that almost the entire orchestral score by Howard Blake is missing (a promo album with the score has been around for years in circulation).

Conclusion: It has finally a sensible soundtrack double CD with the complete music for FLASH GORDON appear, namely the CDs must include the following matters:
1. Original soundtrack by Queen without dialogues and sounds, bonus tracks: Alternate Versions
2. Original Score Howard Blake (the complete orchestral score)

I hope that this is also someone from a record label reads this and this problem will take, so that finally we can enjoy the Complete Score to FLASH GORDON us ...
