Still an esoteric thriller !!!!

This is the first time I discovered the adventures of Commissioner Marcas.
To be frank, I did not understand everything.
The Apocalypse?
We go from Jerusalem to Rennes the castle without really understanding why. it's a little farfetched.
From what I understand, the two writers who met in high school were very attracted in their teens by Sauniere and his discovery of a treasure.
This novel (well written), was for me a new nickname mystical thriller. (We find a mix between the "Da Vinci Code", "The Last Templar" etc ... plus a dose of Freemasonry).
I await the further adventures of Marcas but this book I was not packed.
