Long story short, here are my impressions:
Nose:
Yes, wow, smoke in any case, namely strong and almost pungent. And a bitter heartiness, often titled as the medical. A bit of sweetness hiding behind the smoke. This comes especially to the front if you can stand the time whiskey in glass just 10 min.
Mouth:
Even back smoke, but not as strongly as the nose it suggests let fear aka. Here comes more medical apply. And surprisingly fruit, I would say a bit like pear, behind the smoke. Alcohol is also not to ignore, but not overly spicy or striking.
Neck:
A surprisingly long and warm finish. In the mouth, smoke and sweetness on the palate stuck.
Conclusion:
Ok, an exceptional single malt, that's right! But he is not the "smoke monster", as he is often seen. Smoky yes, but surprisingly behind suddenly sweet and fruity. I find it tasty and buy it every now and again as an enrichment of whiskey.
From me 4 star and a good tasting recommendation.
