The cover picture is suitable for a horror radio play, although it is not 100% fit to content. After all, it does not reveal too much, that's sometimes a problem.
I ordered the CD with a competitive provider, where she was much cheaper and wonder just above the Amazon price - but only at the margins. Yesterday I heard the radio play and was thrilled. I'm not a big horror fan as ghost and followed in this radio play of a recommendation from the circle. I did not regret it, because the story was more subtle than I'm used to it by horror radio plays. I found the twist with the 'real' werewolf (a real spoiler I explain times not know what that is) really succeeded and the idea of what happens to the girls in the clutches of the villain really creepy. Here the horror is framed by a bittersweet love story that I found very nice. I do not like excessive action and horror-trash. In some scenes the story narrowly scraped past it, but that's probably just due to the genre and the expectations of the listener. Overall, I found the story but very round and much more subtle than I'm used to the genre. This I find the radio drama for listeners who are not diehard as ghost horror fans, very well audible. I have certainly felt well entertained and thought it was just the right amount of action and "Trash". ;-)
Music and sound effects conjure up a melancholic mood, which goes well with the autumn and the horror and round out the story. In addition to top-notch professional speakers such as Christian Stark, Dietmar miracle, Martin Kessler, Christian Rode and Gabrielle Pietermann here to talk to a few lay people - including the author. Lay speakers are always the same criticism, but I think this is also a lot of the expectations with which one approaches unknown speaker. Clear hear it in some places ("Tich place table"), but I found the contrast to the professional speakers not clear or are bothersome. Evelyn Boyd has their thing very well done in my opinion, although they had to "appeal" against Gabrielle Pietermann and Martin Kessler.
I particularly liked the way the piano music in the background and at the end, which fitted well with the framework story and mood.
