    The device is eigentlicht TOP! Have it connected via firewire to the Mac and operate it in Raid5 mode with 4 * 1.5TB hard drives. But that's also the hook. If you have Raid5 namely use either 3 or 5 plates, otherwise the write throughput is too low.
