I have now tested in the rain and the mud, and I am very satisfied. It is robust enough (several shocks) through its not too rigid design and protects from splashes as well from the top (front part of the fender) than at the bottom. I had to tighten
nickel / chrome, great product, sport and it's better than just near the wheel (my personal opinion) and good beefy holding not tested in the rain, great.
