The implementation of the first part corresponding to at least as far as I can remember the Cube version 1: 1. What I think is a pity is that the skits are not set to music as before. That takes the witty dialogue a little wind out of the sails. Still, I love the story of Lloyd and Collette and her journey of World Regeneration, which can come up with some surprises. I think to Symphonia is certainly the most well known and has already been said.
Unfortunately, this does not apply so much to continue. Va the poor implementation of the fighting was doing with the time quite on the nerve. What's wrong with the collision detection? The other titles that has always worked but also run here before several attacks and above all the Artes into space. Unfortunately, the interesting plot about the conflict between the Te'theallans and Sylvaranti not really ride on. Instead turn to develop a new story about Centurions and demons, I would have found it more interesting to pursue the political tribulations. Moreover, the two main characters are not as sympathetic as Lloyd and his cronies. Emil went to me sometimes quite weak with his kind on the nerves, while Marta me was to research again. A feature that has been added is the ability to catch monsters. For what purpose? The game as a reason to make the Centurions stronger, but it has zero impact, if you catch monster or not. Why then has introduced this element, is beyond me (except that one thus has again 4 party members) - later you can also play with the heroes of the 1st part, so this will lapse again and there are few opportunities, use the Monster. Positive I found definitely that it was just nice to meet again the characters from the first part. Beautifully nostalgic! Finally, the skits were set to music! And the very clever! Tenebraes dry comments were just great!
Unfortunately Dawn is but still compared to Symphonia significantly weaker, so that I give total 1 star deduction. The beautiful nostalgic feeling, one of the finest titles of the Tales series again play but makes up for it! I can only hope that there will be soon a remake on Abyss!
