Of course, many fans of the protagonists will have their expectations of this album, some will probably expect to Van Halen sounds meet, or to Satriani's guitar acrobatics and translucent Red Hot Chilli Peppers songs. Somehow this also applies to everything, and somehow not. Chad Smith grooves like the sow, Hagar and Anthony bring naturally a little Van Halen Feeling, but the biggest surprise for me is Joe Satriani. He completely avoids Gitarrengekniedel and plays very useful band. Great rhythm work and excellent guitar solos that best meet the songs!
The first song "Avenida Revolution" is also equal to the only song on the album, which bores me something, somehow the band did not already make it here the engine to crank. But what then does the better in "Soap On A Rope". The song rocks, like all the rest of the album. "Down the Drain" is a pretty relaxed rock song with very nice Satriani solo and with "Learning to Fall" Chickenfoot have an extremely beautiful ballad at the start.
Rock and hard rock fans will certainly enjoy themselves on this album.
