At the end of the 2nd pane (The Eye of the Moon) of this tetralogy of Bourbon Kid, many questions remained, pieces of intrigue remained to be settled and a slight feeling of frustration could attack the player. The 3rd (The Cemetery of the devil) brought no response, being actually a prequel, but offered a welcome breath of fresh air within the plot. It is therefore with impatience that begins this book of death. We find it with great pleasures all the characters we already know, the Bourbon Kid, Jessica, Ramses Sanchez, Dante and Kacy. If the start takes his time, the book takes a dramatic acceleration after a hundred pages to not lose the rhythm afterwards. Until the end. The number of new characters is very low, and this is the biggest flaw of the book, no doubt. Indeed, it is in the presentation of new characters, and in the pop portrait the author draws up, that is the most fun part of these books. If we end up with the end of a part of the history of the Bourbon Kid (and let's be honest, it gets off the blood bath which does not fail to arrive at this conclusion), we hope this n is not the end of the adventures of Bourbon Kid'd find much pleasure, especially if it should be required to meet new characters. Maybe not the best volume of the tetralogy, but still a great pleasure, and if you liked the other, you can not not read it.
