After two very accomplished albums (`Black Holes & Revelations 'and' The Resistance ') carried by two unstoppable singles (` Starlight' and 'Uprising') MUSE he can do better?
Especially since if we look a little rock history, 5 albums often mark the end of a cycle or even split the group.
While contains `the 2nd law?
Good songs, as recognized elvisisalive but no ultimate tube (at least at first listen). `Madness' is a great single, but its slow tempo prevents lifting the crowds. To my ears (and here I agree Tony54), the best song on the disc is `Explorers 'but it's a ballad (nearly 6' and more) - not to get excited in concert.
Two other titles stand out: the funky 'Panic Station' and `swinging Big Freeze '.
6 songs complement the cake: it is the MUSE unsurprisingly, neither transcendent nor disappointing.
And finally, the trio of Devon reiterates its final 'The Resistance' with two `lyrical songs' instrumental to dominant.
NB: the production is impeccable (excellent sound) and the judicious tracklisting.
