This band wrote for me the best song, since the Beatles and it has in no way earned bythe (now fortunately ex-) label are vernachlässigtzu, as has been the case. Under normal circumstances, they would have at least as to make it big as Oasis, because it produced better songs at a higher level and have the better individual musicians. On this record, there is not a single bad song. Herausstechend the songwriting and singing of Simon Fowler and the guitar work of Steve Cradock (Paul Weller) (Man games only once briefly the intro riffs on: Riverboat Song, Hundred Mile High City, July, Up on the downside). Retro sounds like, in the most beautiful times. Plus timelessly beautiful as The Circle, Better Day, Get Blown Away and of course The Day We Caught The Train. The Beatles were impressed.
