When the album the British UB40 appeared around 1980. I believed in nothing at all more. it was the time of the Talking Heads, the New Wave and all that was always paired with Reggae, infected. we heard Television, the Tom Tom Club and Police - but then came Signing Off with Tyler, King, Burdon of shame, Going to rain today, food for thought, little by litle. It was like a best-of disc of British reggae thing here in on the record player, I think in any case 45er revolution ran. Even today I feel so, that this album is one of my favorite records, I played for my children again and again and still recommend. An album with a good mood even on cloudy days - for me the best that UB40 have ever recorded.
