I have searched in search of a viable saw for bars all about miter saws from Amazon, and seemed more complicated than the other me. Then I came by chance on this saw (one more proof of how bes *** the search system operates at Amazon). The figure seemed to show an easy to use saw, and I ordered.
The result is excellent: easy to use, yet absolutely precise, lightweight device, yet stable and wobble-and torsion. The saw comes immediately with a sheet that is suitable for bars and "produces firewood" no (quote from a review by other saws). The cuts are extremely smooth and virtually splinter-free (or, in hardwoods, completely splinter-free).
The operation is fully practical: the left hand holding the bar, the right takes the grip, pushes him to open the backup and start the machine. One second after starting the saw is ready for the material, three seconds after you release it is again.
Since I have it, I realize how often I have "not really appropriate" tools for cutting of bars and thin woods used. I cut almost exclusively straight (no miters) and can not say anything about how good the saw is for angles beyond 90 °.
For the uncompromising Handyman with enough dough a full recommendation.
