I have this notebook since about 2 months. I bought it not at Amazon for about 50 euros less than requested by Amazon. The reason to buy this simple device was that I needed a replacement for my first one-year old HP Pavilion whose loud fan drove me almost to madness. Never again HP! My impression so far - and it also nothing will probably change - is very ambivalent: Well I like that the housing and screen surround are made of matte plastic and that the device is very low (often virtually inaudible) working if you just surfs or writes something. Bad, however, is that the screen had to be replaced immediately after the purchase (bright spot). When repair has it turned out that the disk probably had a defect and was exchanged loud repair bill. Both can happen to anyone. Negative is that the display has a blue tinge and also (subjective?) Lacks sharpness. In any case, you have to readjust. When one hires a direct comparison with a better display, the display for the price goes but still okay. One thing - and I would be grateful if someone would report, makes the similar experience with his instrument, irritates me on this machine and I do not know if maybe it's up to me: When writing the cursor moves regularly seemingly arbitrarily at any another part of the text, also in the middle of sentences into it, and I write on there, without even realizing it. I have not yet figured out why this might be. Am I perhaps now and then on any key or the touch pad and therefore the jumps? Or has the keyboard is defective ??? Bottom line is the notebook for the price just fine, especially if you do not want to write much.
