Yeast extract (a natural product, which indeed only once sounds good) consists mainly of glutamate (with 12% of the main component) and is used by the food industry for the camouflage of glutamate because it does not have to be labeled as a flavor enhancer in accordance with German Food Law. Declaring "with yeast extract" reading for the uninformed consumer is now even better than "with flavor enhancer glutamate". But this is nothing more than deception allowed. The now as a paste some might indeed find tasty, many may indeed glutamate in the Chinese food, but it should be declared. After all, there are many people who get them violent headaches!
