No one goes like that ... Far from it - this book is a great introduction to psychology of experienced trauma and describes the different phases of the shock of recognition, the doubts about the sexual identity, dealing with homosexuality and finally the restoration of one's sexual self-image ,
Very nice is the large number of case studies and personal history, where you can find yourself again and again. But it also recognizes that there is not a solution and that ultimately the future cooperation of the two partners will decide whether the relationship is transformed or broken. This process can take several years.
Whether you love or hate this book is in my opinion mainly by whether one is still in the denial phase or has already recognized that the old relationship has fallen into either separates or want to work together on a new transformed relationship.
This book was created in the 80s and the revised edition (situation of children) comes from 1994. As has been the situation of homosexuals in society in recent years changed extremely positive, some aspects of isolation and persecution in the book no longer to-date and needed to be urgently revised.
Unfortunately, there is this book only in English - just a shame!
