The connection to the Internet was made via the LAN input of a WLAN repeater N / G WN3000RP.
This solution is a little more expensive, but avoids the problems with bad
or incompatible wireless sticks.
At the same time, the receiver can be connected in a network with other TV sets.
I stream the TV recordings on a WD Media Player to a Samsung TV.
The Samsung itself does not recognize the video format of Technisat. Therefore, the upstream Media Player with Wi-Fi.
To stream a recording of Technisat complete, the external hard drive to the receiver with the NTFS file system should be formatted because the transmission in a format with FAT 32 uncontrollably breaks off at one of the many 1 GB portions of the recording and the media player back into the recording menu receiver switches back !!!
If a WLAN connection is not possible, the external hard drive can be used with the TV recordings also from Technisat separately and directly connected to the WD Media Player. Again formatting NTFS is recommended. Under FAT 32 all 1GB sections are otherwise shown separately and play.
The formatting of the external hard drive may be in the menu: "Movies DVR / Music / Manage images" - to be made "DVR Setting". The external hard drive is selected under "recording media setting". UPnP settings are made under "Special Functions".
Addendum: For those who doubt the formatting the external hard drive with NTFS, I have a top customer Photo from the "DVR Settings" menu
published.
