The iron is hot quickly and the pressure of the steam builds up - compared with my older Philips Steam Station - within a good minute. In addition, this ironing system has an Eco button that allows more energy saving laundry smoothing. Compared to previously in use steam station is striking that the Effectis total space-saving dimensions. However, these reduced dimensions enable most likely also that the water tank is not removed but is firmly connected to the steam station. A flap on the top so the water (capacity 1.5 liters) must be poured with an extra vessel.
Also in need of improvement: If you want to steam, you have the button located, press and hold down on the handle. Here I am spoiled by the Philips something you can but - as with a computer mouse - Double Toggle the steam and off again.
The iron itself is pretty easy in the hand and does not bring a great deal weight on the scales. I like that the power cord is completely removable. Should it be damaged in use again, you can simply replace it with another without having to enter the complete Dampfbügelstation in repair.
The included manual explains the Dampfbügelstation exclusively by colorful pictograms. Thus, for example, reveal how entkalt the water tank as the ironing surface has to be cleaned, and that we should flatten substances only hangers hanging by vapor deposition, never when they are already worn by a person. ;)
Overall I am very satisfied with the Effectis. I myself prefer a removable water tank and a steam button with double function. Apart from that I can forgive the Tefal Effectis good four star.
