Once I have a few years bought the regular albums of Tangerine Dream and every album a bigger fan was, was "Near Dark" the first soundtrack that I ordered from this band. So when I heard him, I was so excited that I bought all the soundtracks of TD in a short time. "Near Dark" is definitely one of the best soundtracks of the eighties and also one of the most unusual. With the piece "Caleb's Blues" the board has a brilliant opener, even if it has to do with blues little, but is quite rocky, as is the firecracker "Good Times", which distorted his guitars and hard rhythm is not quite in the overall picture of the otherwise rather quiet pieces fit. The rest of the plate is very spährisch and bleak and eerie synth sounds reminiscent partly something to the first albums of this supergroup. Outstanding tracks on the album are "bus station", "Mae Comes Back" and "She's my sister (Resurrection 1)", confirm the one that TD are probably the world's most important and best electronic band. All in all, "Near Dark" anyway a must for anyone who loves Tangerine Dream and worth all five stars. Traderjob: The film "Near Dark- The night has its prize" is also top class, especially because the music comes across really awesome.
