Published by the austere editions Champion, The English progressive Rock is an excellent book danalyse, written in a specific academic style and documented. Christophe Pirenne focuses on the historical and geographical heart of the movement to better update its main characteristics and the conditions dapparition (historical, sociological, musical and artistic). Some danalyse musicological passages are a little bit difficult (and are largely passed me over the head) but the rest is perfectly clear and very informative.
