After the produced by Rick Rubin and sparingly instrumented previous albums "12 Songs" and "Home After Dark" and the similarly held cover album "Dreams" Melody Road "comes slightly lush therefore. And that's a good thing.

The voice of 73-year-old is still powerful, expressive and safe. The songs are produced wonderfully melodic and tasty, also much more optimistic and sweeping than last. For me, a wonderful album that gives me hope that Neil Diamonds creativity and songwriter talent are far from being exhausted. Thank you for this album
