Compared SEB Clipso (I have a Clipso 1998)
+ Lighter cover.
+ 20% cheaper.
+ Spare parts easy to find and cheap (the Genuine Parts suitable).
- You have to turn the handle to close, instead of a click.
- The valve has only one position, so a single cooking speed.
Compared SEB Authentic (I have a Authentique 1980)
+ 5% cheaper.
+ Only plastic parts look different compared to a Genuine; handles, valve.
+ The Authentic spare parts appear usable; joint, valve handles.
+ Folding handles.
+ The valve remains on the lid.
= The bottom of the tank current models Actua and Authentic;
> Seems heat more than my 1980 empty pan on a hot plate.
> The grooved bottom does not trap water on a hot plate
- Safety valve on the lid, partially plastic, do not inspire confidence in the long term. The valve of my 1980 casserole is entirely in stainless steel.
- Actua lid handle is a little "junk".
