Well, since no moment during Metallica have been that would have been covered this band for the umpteenth time, this disc would have completely disappeared. Fortunately this did not happen because "Lightning to the Nations" has enough class to themselves, to be able to confirm without Metallica. The part was originally 1980 herraus. Great songs are here to find it, such as "The Prince", of course, been covered by Metallica, but the original sounds better. This can be seen even some jazz elements, the song sounds but of course as a really rousing Metal Song of the 80s. Outstanding was especially "Sucking My Love" a 9 min. Song with many psychedelichen dimensions that sounds partially by Led Zeppelin for best times. "Am I Evil", was of course also been covered by Metallica, and the horny "Helpless", which simply has an awful lot of power in the original. Toll was "It's Electric" that simply massive and energetic comes across. It's also nice that this disc had a real metallic clean sound, and therefore not so many overproduced Metal sound like publications of today. The title track sounds to me rather by AC / DC, very straight forward but with plenty of power. You see already, every song on this CD is to be heard more than value. And if you finally want to know how this band sounded (at best times), the Metallica as seemingly endless covers, then worried you this great CD.
