And so it was that the soundtrack over and over again in the domestic system landed. And even if the stolen theme of the 13th Warrior was not heard / actual I liked the music in spite of everything getting better.
Meanwhile I hear Gregson-William's contribution to "Kingdom of Heaven" is constantly going up and down. I was as it were converted by the magic of this exotic-sounding music orienatlisch!
In the 62:12 minutes you simply only get grandiose and sometimes offer very poignant and sombre music!
Care was taken that the more important parts of the film are represented, although some will only sketched roughly. So the battles Theme very commonly used in the film comes on the CD straight times in two tracks. Even so some Hebrew vocal tracks are played only briefly.
The Main Theme is film music typical in almost every track to fruition. Also very nice the "Ibelin" theme has fallen, which is unfortunately only heard three times, and once only briefly alluded to and in a vocal version which is sung by Natacha Atlas (completely in Hebrew) again.
When it comes to action-tracks there is plenty to hören- which again has to be said that these are also mostly touched on only roughly.
Because when things get going even once swirled back to a quiet, sad and somber music.
Conclusion:
I can only recommend this score! Even those who have reservations selbige as I had then. It is the one to listen to the same old now gets back really something else!

Have this score now brought out again after a few years and was surprised how well it actual me stayed with his great themes in memory and the one track! I was right back in love with him. Correct accordingly zeitlos- a real must-have-Score! Hope that there also again a complete score release follows!
