Eminem has finally achieved with this album, to reconnect with old times, even though he has tried something new musically once again. So I was skeptical at first because of the many guest singers (inside). But every song chorus blends seamlessly into the associated song and creates a special atmosphere. "The Marshall Mathers LP 2" is very varied and offers both aggressive (z. B. "Berzerk", "Rap God", "Asshole", "Brainless") and funny songs (z. B. "So Far ... "), as well as quiet and personal songs (z. B." Legacy "," Stronger Than I Was, "" Headlights "). Production wise convince especially the pieces that Eminem himself has produced (eg. B. "Rhyme or Reason," "Brainless").
Personally, I like the song "Rap God", "Asshole", "Brainless", "Headlights" (reconciliation statement to his mother) and "Beautiful Pain" best. The only song that I have often skip, is "LoveGame" as it here a bit too much I'm messed up. But there are known different tastes. ;)
The purchase of the Deluxe Edition is highly recommended, because the five bonus tracks (especially "Beautiful Pain") the album songs in no way inferior, and therefore you get 102 minutes rap at the highest level!
