Boss fight predicate: stunning

Completely open mind and no expectations, I'm in the game Batman - Arkham Origins gone. And after only three hours of play me one of the best boss fights my videogame career has been brought! If I look at myself today the duel against Deathstroke in a YouTube movie, it brings tears to my eyes. Honest. So I find the class. This is partly due to the difficulty crisp, the leaves appear to be insurmountable hurdle this fight first. Then on the cinematic staging: playable arcades and mini-cut scenes intertwine as a passionate soul kiss here. And of course the splendid playability with an intuitive use of fists and gadgets. For me a great gaming experience!

But to reduce the game to highlight this, would not be appropriate. Because Batman - Arkham Origins has many glorious pages. It is a third-person open world action-adventure, of course, with story-line - otherwise you will never finish. In this story you knock, for example by criminal gangs-Gesockse, cracks nasty puzzles or prevents malicious attacks from villains. During play, the character of a mysterious superhero novices become a recognized bat-man. At least that's the story of the hanger. But are well known both protagonist and enemies, this idea has produced nothing new with me and is just a default setting Batman but not bad. The presentation of the story in the gloomy Gotham is very good. And surprising Mini Twists keep boredom at bay.

Playful enjoys Batman despite his stiff response far more than the four basic types of movement and has a lot of movement freedom: Walk, run, jump, crawl, crawl through tubes, swinging from house to house, roll along on ropes, balance, can pull up on winches, hanging upside down, lurking, and, and, and. An agile guy. The so-called detective-vision a kind of X-ray vision helps him to get his bearings. Implementation is more than solid, graphics are also great in my eyes. The gamepad has been well integrated by a zoomable map in the game What more could you want?

One of my few criticisms of Batman - Arkham Origins is the tonality. The serious tone is indeed taken from the movies. But a bit of looseness or occasional irony in Batman convolutions would my game further increased safely. And also: storage points within boss battles (here: Batman vs. Bane) are for me as an ambitious gamers actually an ultra-no-go! In the next installment, please no longer do.
