Kind of a Drag (Audio CD)

Customer Review

1 rock quartet from Chicago, the smaller, non-typical for the remaining plate, unfortunately rather annoying hit - the title track, where the organ is roaring - had the nowadays nobody knows more. However, the band is for garage and rock band lovers 1966/67 and for more specific specialists who are passionate about, for example, covers or songs with writers in the title collect (here: Viginia Woolf, an instrumental), some interest: some songs come with krachiger Fuzzgitarre therefore, the selection of added pieces is noteworthy: James Brown's "I'll go crazy," a really good "Summertime" with "I'll call your name" a rather rare Beatle piece, a surprising "You make me feel so good "by the zombies and even" Sweets for my sweets "from the Searchers. But even in the mood to original mono vinyl and with volume: really original and igniting all that is not.

The CD re-release of Sundazed does a good job and has bonus tracks here.
