Dark Souls: enthusiasm by ruthlessness

The reviews here make principally just my assessment of the game. In one sentence reads that: Dark Souls is to be demanding without unfair; stupid for other games, because the are called into the shadows.

Right-the beginning is difficult. You will almost thrown into the action in and must even come clear. The story is as lean and various secrets would remain hidden if one does not draw from and to online help for advice. But that's not a criticism.

Dark Souls throws you into the deep end and you have to learn to swim. This applies to the struggles that quickly be fatal incorrect assessment as well as for the game concept. And therefore it's nice consistent when you do not "taken by the hand" will by lengthy tutorials. You must fight from the beginning to your survival. You are alone and pretty much the whole world is against you.

All the better then the moments to make friends around the fire or to help other fighters out of a jam. In addition to predefined by the game characters who now and then meet her (best buddy: Knight Solaire), you also get support from human players. You can also help other players online. I recommend this game highly va players who have long been looking for real change always the same genre platitudes. Mich frightened eg. The (exaggerated) estimates for the game on how unfair it is yet, or that it is difficult bock. Yes-it's hard. But rather in the manner to be demanding, to call forth as frustration. Give yourselves and your game system just a special moment of role-playing atmosphere.
