(1) Petrol
This song has made in advance for a few surprises, since it was played at some concerts the previous tour. The genesis of the song could not be more curious: According to the testimony of Till Lindemann he had once seen a tragicomedy, in which the protagonist is addicted to Benzingeröder Rucht. Similarly, depending sounds Till Lindemann in this song. A good song, but in my opinion not directly a good opener. Since the other accesses were selected in any case better.

(2) head to head
In this song Rammstein treated the subject of homosexuality, which by the former working title of the song ("Schwuhla") is abundantly clear. In my opinion, these are a highlight of the entire album. The song begins even at relatively quiet, but is behind a real crusher. The text is selected absolutely aptly for as a subject and is carried forward to well-known way.

(3) Rosenrot
The title track of the album, and a really good one at that. However, have to say is that the melodic parallels to "stone by stone" are unmistakable, which can be explained with the elaboration of the two title songs. Rosenrot was originally intended for the last album, and was with the song "Stone by Stone", whose working title "Rosenrot 60" was added. Content cuts this song both Goethe's "Heidenröslein" and the fairy tale "Snow White and Rose Red" on.

(4) Spring
This song deals with the Sensation horniness our society today. The lyric I noticed a man standing on a bridge and actually want to enjoy the view, but is prompted by the emergence of crowd to jump. The song ends with the lyric I itself ensures that the man falls from the bridge. A current and important issue here was pretty well done in my opinion, if the text in some places a little faltering. I especially liked here in the chorus of my choir.

(5) Where are you?
Indeed, only standard was used, but in a good way. This song is a hard ballad that starts with a clarinet, before the usual instruments. I really liked here that you have set to the middle of the song "You" by Till Lindemann repeatedly starts a sentence and gradually added, resulting in a number of possible interpretations. Yet there is here again a few small weaknesses in the text to complain about.

(6) Do not die before me (Do not Die Before I Do)
What's going on with Rammstein? Once again a ballad? Yes, indeed, but a very habituation needy. No heavy riffs, not rolled "R" and not a deep chant, but a duet with Scottish musician Sharleen Spiteri, who many expected to be known as the singer of the band Texas. I think it's good that Rammstein dares such new steps, but not really convinced me of this experiment.

(7) Destroy
To explain this song content, it is enough to point out a quote from Flake: "This is the meaning of our country song about George W. Bush and completely seriously the results to the world like a child who wants to destroy everything there.. but he lays hands only to outside property! "
With this statement Flake hits the nail on the head. A very hard crusher with a Turkish intro and a very easy-held, but rather strong text. The song should first way, called "Ankara". The last minute of the song consists of a small addition, one can look almost as a separate song and somehow reminds me of "fog".

(8) Help me
Most of the song lyrics is not from Till Lindemann, but by Heinrich Hoffmann, who once for the "Struwwelpeter" wrote these lines. These verses can be found in "The Dreadful Story of the lighter". The lines of text have been partially accepted in the detail, but implemented only mediocre. Especially at the end of this song draws but in very unnecessary lengths.

(9) Te Quiero Puta!
Rammstein tried it for the first time ever, Spanish to be able to thank her Mexican fans can because finally finished the last album in the Mexican charts the first place. What will surely be a delight for the Mexicans, for me, unfortunately, a rather weak song. The trumpets, the clatter of horses' hooves and the Spanish singing values the theme of the song in my opinion, from any and let the song seem to be like a parody. This song is not the case still my taste, even after all the runs.

(10) Fire and Water
Towards the end of the album the band sets out once more some evidence of their musical skills. A strong text that supposedly both of Schiller's poem "Der Taucher" as was also inspired by Linde's experience as a competitive swimmer, mingles here with a captivating instrumental leadership. Unfortunately, this song needs some time to get into gear, because it has a long intro and not just short.

(11) A Song
And at the end is a song that is to be a gift for all Rammstein fans. It is quite used to, as in this song are merely listening to an acoustic guitar and a keyboard. In all other instruments was omitted. A very peaceful ending of the album, which almost looks like a lullaby.
