Pro:
+ Picture quality is good (ok, I switched from the tube, so I have no possibility of comparison to other LEDs or plasma)
+ Built-in WLAN functions, any problems (with my Speedport)
+ DNLA work top, pull my content such as movies or photos via the LAN directly from my Lacie NAS (which is running a Twonky Media Server)
+ 3D function is really good, also the 2D> 3D conversion delivers results pretty (though not comparable to a theater showing of Avatar)
+ Pretty, slim design with minimal frame
+ Sound is not objectionable, is really neat for a LED
Con:
- Light Flashlights at one or two places, but you can not see during the day. Only at night, when it's really dark, one perceives them slightly. For me, however, no reason for return, because really only marginally.
- Color settings from the factory are really botch, here you have unfortunately only times a few hours manually optimize.
- The content of some apps is heavily tailored to the Asian / Korean market. Example Music app: The free consumable music videos or live concerts are almost all from any Asian artists. Does not bother me, but I noticed. (But texts and descriptions are all in German!)
- WiDi (Wireless Display) does not work with iPad or Smarthphone (only with Intel processors, ie notebooks). Very bad! Now you have to plug it in a meter long HDMI cable to the iPad. Luxury problem! :-)
All in all a good product without great quirks, no clouding or banding evident after the first few days with me. If there is something, there's an update. :)
