After the volumes 4 and 5 boring, Goodkind bounces in the faith of reprobate. This book is very inspired of objectivism, the philosophy of Ayn Rand (read 'Atlas Shrugged' if you like to read in English). It shows very well how a planned society, regulated, is a major obstacle to freedom and human dignity. A must read.
