The operation but I find really horrible. Nerve!
One click for each adjustment to death. Even though it would have to go really fast and could.
And that's just important in a AutoNavi.
- When entering the address, the Nuvi does not notice the last entered town or provides an appropriate choice. So z. B. King Winter has to be entered again each time. Even if every time navigates to destinations in Königswinter.
"Goals Recently found" there is, but that does not help here, yes.
- On the Home page, there are two huge icons for entering destination and map. Alone, that there click on the settings only to a small "Tools" and then on "Settings" and then the type of adjustment and precise adjustment plus selection must, is an unnecessary expense.
- To get to the map after changing a setting back, you must first "Save" then click "back" to last to get to the home page. And there then again on "Map" button. In other Navis are everywhere a direct path back to the map.
- The change from "short route" to "shortest route" is needed but if, then * quickly * and spontaneously, if you for instance (in ner Paris ring road) is stuck in traffic and you quickly decide: Better the little streets.. I have with my old Navi did and that was fine.
Until one has, however, clicked the Nüvi to the lowest ramification of settings dialogs and back again, the next exit or turn is over. Real terrible. :)
- The same applies to "avoid highways" for. Until one has set, the run is over.
- There is also no distinction between motorways and major roads, because it does not appear there the in the United States. So if one avoids highways, one also avoids major roads ...
- The estimated time of arrival is displayed on the screen, yet the driving distance does not. This is also not possible.
- Or to nachzugucken which TMC congestion station is tuned in and whether TMCpro works, one has to in the all-unterstste nesting of the menu by clicking, then another side down and back. The one wants to but often times do if this is new. But that is life-threatening, at the click Errei.
- No button for an alternative route.
- Notifications (weak battery, radar warning in the menu) in text form occupy the * entire * screen.
If you have installed speed camera detector and drives in such an area, then it is virtually impossible a goal or make an adjustment, because every few seconds, the menu is hidden by the message. That's why I got the off again.
All in all, a device for, I would say, the elderly, who would be unable to cope with spontaneous settings anyway and need two huge buttons for destination and map. ^^
