NU FOLK VS OLD FOLK

The Fiddler's have always been unique! Many a pub gem they have recovered from the songs of Green Island and danceable captured on CD. Lately they write mostly original songs. So on NU FOLK. Certainly the songs are catchy, they sound good, musically the band is getting better. There is nothing to complain about. Nu Folk is a worthy successor to Folk Raider. However, I miss the old songs where you wonder why you know the melody and eventually encounters the original.
For fans of Independent Speedfolk, Irish folk-rock, a pinch (punk) rock and everything you can dance applies: ACCESS !!!
