Solo Campaign / Story:
I'm a real story fanatic. Without a good story, a game for me is only one thing to pass the time me to pass the time. If a game but a thrilling story as it is entertainment that you enjoy.
In Ryse: Son of Rome is the story ..... well ... 50 to 50! On the one hand, the story is nothing new and is reminiscent of some places slightly to the SPARTACUS series only in the form of a Roman soldier. His family is killed, he meditates on it to find the killers and kill until you eventually always reinstolpert in a new unwanted situation, even complicate the path to the goal a little more.
But there are places RYSE has again reached a point at which one is packed again and mitfiebert. This happened to me at least once. At the beginning of the game, the story was rather not so overwhelming, then convinced but as the game progresses, more and more. If you like ancient Rome, blood and betrayal is RYSE: completely served SON OF ROME and its story.
A minor drawback, however, there for the length of this story. Although it is getting better with time, but this is perhaps the reason because you moving ever closer to the end. Because Ryse: Son of Rome offers only a paltry 8 chapters (levels) that you can roam in order to experience the history of Marius Titus can.
One can only hope that Crytek and Microsoft still provides an additional story as an add-on afterwards.
Graphics:
Since one speaks of an Xbox One title course you expect a certain level of next-gen graphics. Is not this yet to see the expected next-gen should hopefully many to be understood as this will still take a little time to complete. However, you did not miss taking a beautiful appearance and graphics power in the game to put in. The environment is really very clear and detailed, the armor shiny unspeakably beautiful and the blood also appears to be getting better.
Blow is allowed, however, of the facial animations of enemies in their ,, executions ". Here a lot of detail was reingesteckt to generate a realistic image can. Who wonders how next-gen looks RYSE should look definitely times. Here you can see already strongly the beginnings of the next-gen. Furthermore, one can consider how to now still want to beat these optics and how this can look like.
Multiplayer mode:
Also in Ryse: Son of Rome, there is a multiplayer mode that you can play online for up to 2 players. Local this is not possible, however, is undergoing a fast ,, "Smooth and Zögerfreie play really fun.
This mode was planned but apparently with the same vigor as the story mode, so you may be limited entirely to the online mode after the completed story. Whether this was, however, really have been such a good idea only time will tell. So far, however, makes the carnage for two a lot of fun.
CONCLUSION:
Ryse: Son of Rome is a really good title, but which at some points in the story, and to wish the paltry 8 levels leaves something. But when starting title for the Xbox One, he is definitely a must for any owner of the console, which has already reached the age of 18 or has made by another person this game to own, because he is old still below the required age. ;-)
Graphics, and multiplayer are really brilliant, and the multiplayer mode might in the long run could be a bit naff.
Who has not the game should be really down, because the current price of just under 40 you really can not complain. Over time, it is of course cheaper, but you can then expect VLT that already the next chart hit and. Story even hit on the market outside.
Therefore, there are times of my beautiful 4 star!
