The Walking Dead is an extremely exciting and atmospheric game. Instead of wild shooting action it is necessary to make decisions. Tough choices, which go a partly under the skin so that they make "The Walking Dead" one of the best adventures that I have ever played.
Due to the fact that these decisions also influence the later game (sometimes more, sometimes less) and so lead to completely different history courses, it also has a high replay value.
But there is also a bad weakness, leading to a star deduction: The subtitle.
These are so bad that they can be equally divided in several criticisms.
1. The translation is terrible and unloving. Unfortunately, there are several places that are so badly translated that the Google Translator could have done any better. Total twisted grammar, an impertinence to deliver something.
2. The contrast. The subtitle of the individual characters are represented in different colors what is once well. Unfortunately, some of these colors can be according to background reading scary bad. One would simply have a cup beams as background and the UT can project them out, which would have helped a lot.
3. The speed. There are in the game so many fiery scene are fed into the heated debate. In these discussions, the UT are so rapidly fade in and out, it's hard to come along with the reading. Especially when you have to make a decision to all UT even within a few seconds additionally.
All this is really very annoying, especially the first point should not have been. Those like me who is fast in reading and gets on well with the English language edition, which will presumably make up a little less, but people such. As my wife, who are not as fit in English will be much more difficult due to the aforementioned criticisms do.
Nevertheless, the game is absolutely awesome and highly recommended.
