Customer Review

That an exceptionally talented singer not automatically prepares highest listening pleasure, one has for example already experienced at Whitney Houston. That task belongs above all good song material and a suitable arrangement - and precisely what is missing here. If there is an "unplugged" version of this album would be, would be even clearer that it has little substance ... nothing really catchy. The opener "1 + 1" can at least sit up briefly. Only for "Love on Top" and "Lay up under me" is something R & B feel to. The computer-heavy production also looks sterile. Nadir: "Countdown". One wishes Beyoncé involuntarily some decent songwriter and Quincy Jones as producer on the page.

Conclusion: probably only for non-critical fans - you have to really do not have.
