extremely slow! (Toshiba Hayabusa 16GB)

I bought this USB stick as a take-along stick to the key ring.
Based on previous reviews, I honestly had no doubts and am absolutely assumed that the specified Cards & reading values ​​are obtained.

But this is not so!

Of course I was surprised, because I totally fall apparently with my experience here from the series.
But it is nunmal unfortunately as it is - the sheet which I now directly from Amazon received (not from a Marketplace vendor) is extremely slow.
Because pictures say more than 1000 words, look just look at the screenshots to three to which I have added in the product photos.

In the Amazon product description is quite clear (and reportedly also found with H2testw):

Write rate: 9.35 MB / s
Read rate: 17.5 MB / s

My own comparison * with H2testw however says otherwise (NTFS):

Letter: 3.56 MB / s !!!
Read: 13.6 MB / s

Just the time of 1: 09: 23h to the flash drive in the test 100% to write fully required a lot of patience, I at least not want to raise again (stick went earlier and again on Amazon back).
Added to this is that the stick is advertised with 16GB, real to offer but just over 15,5GB of which has then formatted only 14.8 left. Its total capacity is thus still below my other two 16GB drives, where 14.9 and 15,3GB are real usable.

That the positive front of me 10 customer reviews may well be true I will not at all doubt.
BUT:
I suspect (and I have the impression so far has often at had USB sticks where the customer reviews derat are far apart) that it is handled with many manufacturers of USB sticks on a similar principle as with some manufacturers of RAM bars, namely ensuring that it is not always when I today and in a few weeks the same product from the same manufacturer will buy that in the same chips are always installed.
When working, it is certainly often the case that from various sources chips are purchased and installed, depending on availability and instantaneous market price. Thus have installed may chip the next batch, which sometimes do not get along with an older bar of the same type (even several times experienced). A closer look at the use of the RAM chips revealed in such an example, then usually the truth.
In the USB keys I can not look, unfortunately. But I think it is at least conceivable that I have caught a specimen, were installed in the simple significantly inferior memory chips than previous reviewers.
Because of the broken stick was not quite sure.

* I had tested the stick into 3 different computers: Acer Laptop, Asus EeePC X101H, older Athlon dual-core computer with Via chipset.
On all PCs, the Cards & readings on nearly the same level and the differences were so small that it is the bottom line inconsequential it in detail to elaborate.
The fact is simple:
My copy does not deserve the name Hayabusa in the least and was more like a lame snail.

I hope I could keep with this review one or another buyer before a disappointment.
