Powerage [Vinyl] (Vinyl)

Customer Review

The album "Powerage" is something like the unappreciated masterpiece of AC / DC. The album from 1978 is for me with the best of the group from Australia. Bon Scott, Angus Young and Malcolm Young, Phil Rudd and Cliff Williams on bass for the first time at its best. Was produced again by Vanda and Young.

In 1978 the plate well with the hardest ever was. Testify songs like `raff` reef,` Up to my neck in Here make and `Kicked in the teeth`. Especially `Up to my neck ...` and `` Kicked ... are real neckbreaker. `Sin City` is one of their best songs ever. `Downpayment is blues` pigs cool (sorry) and also` What`s next to the moon` knows how to inspire. "Powerage" is quite varied, but overall outweigh the hard songs. The pity is that no song was a classic up to `Sin City` and` Rock `n` Roll damnation`. And where is `Cold hearted man`? Surely it can not be that on the CD are fewer pieces than the time on the LP.

Although "Powerage" overall not as well known as "Highway To Hell" and "Back In Black", the album rocks very strong! Bon Scott in great shape, the band also, 5 stars.
