DJ Kicks (Audio CD)

Customer Review

as it should be. Do not point an incriminating finger, but just a couple of times House beads from the 80s and especially 90s on the plate, refresh the longing of longtime friends House or even show the kiddies of today, the good side of House.
Andrew Butler succeeds in spite of some breakthroughs and bumpy transitions, to find a good mix of different styles and House to unite these worthy in a DJ-Kicks mix.
Since time is limited to a CD, is also not spoken long around the bush, but losgelegt same time without long intro. The piano strumming, animate the vocal samples and the drum is sometimes more, sometimes less forward. Mark Imperial lures with "The Aciied That Ate New York" the dance crowd from the corner and the latest from Haze Factory with "A Bit Of Redemption" then everyone should hit the dance floor.
Finally we come to the small shortcoming of the mix: It's just so beautiful in it, because it is already over. What now? Again from the beginning or at the next house party?

Conclusion: A mix of pleasure makes to rummage again in the panels of yesteryear.
