I bought this printer primarily for its WIFI function, or I never managed to set up sustainable. After painfully successfully configured WIFI, through the Adhoc mode and infrastructure, it took just one printer shutdown to lose the settings. Having given up the WiFi, I resigned myself to use USB, without too much trouble so far, but ... Windows 8.1 installation hangs hardware detection (uninstalled and reinstalled a dozen times on 2 PC different), and this for some updates to Windows 8.1 end of 2014. Do not attempt to circumvent the problem by installing the driver manually (INF file), there is none. A smaller driver package is available on hp.com and presented as an update but is dated 2012 (2013 for the basic driver). It is unfortunate on the part of the HP provided drivers are also poor, especially for a printer named LaserJet Pro. For my part I gave up this machine for Brother HL 2300 series, including drivers simply installed by INF file and installs as a conventional network printer (adding a TCP / IP port, choice of pilot etc ...)
