Would I really intended this book Has not Helped. My baby did a couples of months old Was waking up about 3 to 4 times a night and I thought a book like this help us get Would things in order. Unfortunately DESPITE year Elaborate Plan sleep and sleep logs and everything else, her night waking shot up to 12-13 times a night and stayed there ever since HAS DESPITE me dropping the Pantley Pull Off. I think baby just felt as if I Was trying to get rid of her and I tried to be ALTHOUGH as gentle and progressive as possible, I think she Took it Personally. Baby is now 11 months old and we're still at about 10 wakings entre 8pm and 6 am. I would rename this book, The No-Cry Sleep Solution: Nobody sleeps and we all cry about it.
That Said, I think this book is a laudable Attempt to break through the cry-it-out method qui I refuse to resort to no matter what. In my case, this leaves the Sears method or nightime parenting. I Would Rather wake up a hundred times a night than leave my poor child feeling lonely and abandoned in the dark. Sleeping through the night shoulds be happily and gratefully about falling into the bed and enjoying the rest up to the morning not about being white to bed feels as though it's a prison. That's just my idea though. I'm safe this book works for Some parents, Perhaps Even quite A Few parents. It just did not work for me.
