If you like thrash metal, this album has of course in his record collection. It's unbelievable what is subtracted here! Jeff Hanne Mans and Kerry King's guitar style is simply unmistakable - not "beautiful," but both the rapid madness riffs and insane guitar solos full of power and hard to copy -, Dave Lombardo proves once again that he is one of the best drummers ever and Tom Araya screams the hell out of them. The incredible aggressiveness in music, the spectacular change of pace and tempo of each song in translated standards and then blow a still the bulb off. If I'm so pissed as to anything or anyone comes to me "Reign In Blood" to reduce aggression just right, because there is hardly a place to take a breather. Although the CD only lasts about half an hour, it is worth the money in any case. The absolute hammer-songs are, of course, "Angel Of Death" and "Raining Blood", even though every song has an incredible intensity. To "Angel Of Death" there was the way such discussions that Slayer album finally had to bring out with another label. Certainly, the text may sound pretty heavy again, but it would be wrong to make the band so in the Nazi corner. We know that like Slayer offend and provoke what they do in this case, so that, by failing to clearly take a stand, without, however, "glorify" any of these horrific crimes would. On the contrary: Actually, any normal thinking person when he reads or hears from those atrocities described by the text must, a fortiori, the more clearly discern how horrible that must have been.
