The transmitter installation (if you want to use the unit for TV recording) ran quite smoothly. The channels were found and could be easily sorted. The only drawback at the reception: The unit is only analog channels or digital programs only via DVB-T! (-C / -S Can forget)
For the exorbitant price, at least I had wished for a bit more friendly operation unit. The display with the band display is only a few seconds in the image and must be reselected again. Also, the LCD display on the device leaves much to be desired: It only displays the time / Tape counter and the mode (VCR / DVD). Since you have already careful that you have the device really off!
It may SP and LP play, tracking works when playing only automatically, but can be adjusted manually with the up / down keys - but without progress bar (by feel / observation). After Bandvorspulen the device seems the tape unthread a bit (too much momentum?). A quick rewind fixes the problem.
Otherwise, the picture and sound when playing okay. The tapes were after all more than 10 years around meaningless. Those who want to digitize their VHS tapes, which I can neither recommend nor discourage the device. I use to digitize the Elgato Video Capture, USB 2.0, which saves the film from VHS to the PC as an .mp4 file (highly recommended!).
