This milk frother has a very powerful electric motor, which keeps its speed constant, even if further stirred around in slightly firmer milk foam.
So far I could not find any one weakness in this product, even motor stops and keeps without a murmur. The stir bar is very straight and noticeably more stable than some other model.
Milk froth:
For everyday use I've tried various types of milk:
3.8% 3.5% 1.5% fat -> always works could not detect any differences
Warm / Hot milk -> very solid milk foam lasts long
Cold milk -> Milk foam is formed much faster, but does not last as long (rather falls together)
UHT milk -> takes considerably longer to milk foam is formed, also significantly less yield
With normal milk and ESL milk ("keeps fresh for longer") I've had the best experience.
I recommend the operating principle rechargeable batteries, not only for environmental reasons but mainly because batteries to short to make a consistent performance for their discharge, while standard disposable batteries can be observed a noticeable drop in performance after only a short operating time of the device (quickly leads to lower speed and thus poorer milk foam yield).
In summary:
Durable, hardy, powerful, stable - easy preparation of milk froth
Tips:
- Use rechargeable batteries instead of batteries, then there is no performance degradation
- Use normal or ESL milk, best to warm before briefly, then the milk foam remains stable for longer
